We are delighted to announce that we have signed a global licencing deal with QinetiQ, the FTSE250 listed Defence, Aerospace and Security Technology Company, to supply Mirage™ thermal reflective film.
Mirage™ was initially developed for military applications and is visible to infra-red cameras making it an excellent aerial identification product for emergency service vehicles.
Following extensive negotiations, PVL signed the exclusive deal to provide a secure supply chain to manufacture and supply thermal identification film to the emergency services around the world. These markings are specified by the Home Office for use on UK Police vehicles (HOSDB document 43/04), but the product has not been commercially available until now.
