PVL will be exhibiting at the 41st Blue & Amber Light Fleet Exhibition and Conference (NAPFM) organised by the National Association of Police Fleet Managers – held at the International Centre, Telford in June (3rd & 4th) this year.
This important annual exhibition brings together all key fleet and senior personnel from the UK emergency services, primarily the police but representatives from fire, ambulance and local authorities. In addition, security and government organisations from the UK and around the world will be in attendance.
PVL will be demonstrating their reflective safety “Battenburg” markings on many of the 200 vehicles on display, as well as staging the important product launch of Mirage™.
Mirage™ Thermal Identification Film was developed initially for military applications but PVL have secured a global, exclusive licence to manufacture and supply to emergency services to aid with aerial identification. The material has been specified by the Home Office for several years but the product has, until now, been unavailable.
NAPFM 2014 will see the launch and demonstration of the thermally reflective Mirage™ film technology in application, wth QinetiQ (the designers and patent holders) providing thermal imaging cameras similar to those used in helicopter support.
