PREVIEW VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS DELIVERS A 14 FLOOR HIGH LOGO TO BRAND THE DAMAC TOWER!
New client, Multiplex (a global construction company who built the luxury DAMAC Tower for DAMAC properties) approached us with an unusual request – to apply temporary signage that would brand their new tower, covering 14 floors of the building – from the inside.
The DAMAC Tower is a residential development which provides 360 residential units. The North Tower, which consists of 50-storey, features interiors by Versace Home.
They were looking to brand the new building to introduce the DAMAC brand to the city.
After a careful site survey, Preview’s design team designed, and sister company PVL produced the branding to cover an area 33 metres high and almost 5 metres wide with each letter taking up to 12 window panels.
Taking specific window measurements and working in reverse (as the letters were applied to the inside of each window) we first applied one letter “D” covering 3 floors to ensure the client was happy with the impact during day and night. After signoff, we applied the rest of the lettering to windows spanning 14 floors. Our production team cut and packed each letter to ensure that the onsite fitting team could easily locate all required parts on this massive scale project.
The result is a really effective and eye catching, large format sign that can be seen from a huge distance away, with or without backlighting.
Mr Miller, Quantity Surveyor in charge of the project at Multiplex said:
“Preview were a pleasure to deal with from design to delivery. The team is highly experienced and technical issues were resolved effectively to achieve the desired result for a challenging large scale sign to promote a prominent Central London high rise development. The installation went very smoothly and the signage was delivered on time and with a great finish.”
