PVL UK is once again, proud to have donated a Metropolitan Police Service vehicle livery kit to the JACK Pack charity event that takes place in New York!
Jack’s PACK (Police against Cancer in Kids) are the fundraising team from The Jack Foundation that helps families with children diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.
Visit j-a-c-k.org for more information on how the charity came to be.
Every May, police from the Metropolitan Police Service, Essex police, British Transport police, Surrey police, and the Ministry of Defence police, along with numerous county forces, joined with the NYPD, complete a half marathon in UNIFORM in Central Park.
For this project, we were delighted to support the JACK PACK by supplying a custom police livery for a BMW 3 series police car for the event.
The police car will be serenaded at the airport by bagpipes (which will annoy a few people) and on its arrival on May 19th, it will be welcomed again by bagpipes.
“Once again thank you PVL for your generosity supporting the Join Against Cancer in Kids charity– Tom Stevenson, Ex Macneillie Armouring manager.
The police car will be seen driving around the streets of Manhattan. This will draw attention as to why hundreds of police officers are running around Central Park.
