PVL are proud of their Assistant Accountant, Sarah Harman, who recently won a CIMA Award in recognition of her amazing exam result.
Sarah’s Story:-
I have worked at PVL for over 5 and a half years and in late 2012 was given the opportunity to move into the accounts team and study towards becoming CIMA qualified. CIMA being the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the world’s largest and leading professional body of management accountants and the qualification is recognised worldwide. With PVL’s support and many long hours studying at home, I have been working my way up the CIMA levels, having sat 13 exams to date and passed all 13 at the first attempt. With now just 3 exams left to sit, I am hoping to be fully qualified early 2017.
Last week I was invited to a special awards dinner hosted by CIMA, celebrating the top students from around the South East and Central England regions. This was in recognition of the Management Level Case Study exam which I sat in November 2015 placing 2nd in the South East of England Area. The event was hosted and attended by the CIMA Global President Myriam Madden at Hampton Court Palace, and was a great opportunity to network with other CIMA students from the local area. I was very honoured to receive a certificate of achievement which is now proudly displayed on my wall at home.
